Let me introduce myself.........

As my profile says, I am a stay-at-home mom with 4 kids.  When my husband and I first started our family, we discussed me staying home to raise the kids.  For us, it was a conscious decision.  Sure, here and there, I have worked outside the home a bit, but home is where I am most needed and where I belong.  Being home has some of life's greatest joys and some of life's greatest struggles.  As a mother, my days are filled with everything from vomit on my shirt to the best bear hug EVER!! There are moments of great pride when your child commits an act of pure selflessness and also moments of great embarrasment when the school principal calls to tell you all about your child.  I am truly blessed that my life is something to smile at and laugh at (now or later).  As a homemaker, most times I don't know which hat to wear - secretary, shuttle service, laundry processor, chef, travel agent, maid, therapist, doctor, beautician, home decorator, gardener, social networker, teddy bear, personal shopper, or anything else that fits here.  No matter which hat it is though, I am inspired by things I can do to give my family a wonderful and happy life and home.  I am proud to say that I am a homemaker and mother.
